Janice and I were sitting just behind each other at a conference and the speaker challenged us to turn around and work with the person directly behind us and Janice turned around. What luck!! One year later we met again at the same conference and I hired her on the spot. She asked me if I had achieved what we had discussed the previous year and sadly I said “NO”. After just one month, I was back on track to what had been a rough transition from the corporate world into semi-retirement. I wonder if she will be at the conference next year.
