What does a well balanced life look like anyway?
I am sure that each and every one of you that reads this blog will have a different answer.
I cannot tell you what balance is or is not.
This is what I do know for sure:
If you feel anxious
If you feel rushed
If you have a headache
If you feel like someone else is running your life
If you feel alone
If you feel unfulfilled
You are…………all of these things ………… AND you are definitely out of balance.
If you feel relaxed
If you have time to enjoy just one thing that you love at least once a week
If you feel like to have room to breathe and grow
If you feel enriched and blessed
If you feel like you decide what you want to do and if that is good for you and your family
If you feel fulfilled
Yor are…….all of these things…..AND you are definitely balanced.
That reads, sounds and feels way to easy doesn’t it?
Actually, that is exactly what it is.
If you do not like a decision that you have made or that someone has made for you……..change the decision.
OK so they get angry……so what?
Would you rather be the one who is suffering?
Is the definition of who you are “martyr”?
I do not think that is something that anyone of us aspired to be when someone asked us: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” “I WANT TO BE A MARTYR and I want people to walk allover me and tell me what to do think and what to say!” “That’s what I aspire to!”
SO stop it already.
Take back your life.
Balance comes into place; one decision at a time.
