Today, amongst all the fireworks, swimming, summer fun, picnics and BBQing, take time to reflect and teach something about how today is very special in our world.
Many other people on earth do not have a day like today.
Teach your children about one aspect of the “Freedom” they are enjoying today and what it took for them to reap the benefit of that freedom.
You might also think about asking each person in your group or family get together what blessing of freedom do they cherish most and what that means to them.
