Decisions And Goals

Decisions do a couple of things:

1.  They can bring you closer to your goal.

2.  They can take you down roads that lead you away from your goal.

3.  They can put you in a perpetual circle where you are never ready to make a decision to reach your goal.

Where are you?

Where do you spend most of your time?

In number 1?

In number 2?

In number 3?

You know when you make a decision and the outcome is less than optimal, you are not lost forever.  You now know what isn’t the way to proceed.  You can now make a better decision which is more informed.

When you become stubborn and refuse to learn from poor decisions, it will take a very long time to get to your goal.  Sometimes, when we are stubborn we jump from goal to goal, from idea to idea,  and we fall into a place of business and constant distraction, so we go no where.

If you are someone who “never has enough information” in order to get to the decision line; you will be dissatisfied for most of your life.

So what can you do?

Take on a new perspective about what you want.

Look and think about how making these decisions will get you to that place of  “satisfaction”.

Be realistic that it will take sacrifices.

It will mean not being in the spotlight, but in the background working hard.

Being quiet in your mind and spirit and letting things unfold and not rushing things.  Things take the time they take.

So what can you make a decision on today?

How will you do that?
