We are now in the week of Thanksgiving and in full swing of the “Holiday Season” here in the US. This week what if we all started being Thankful everyday for thing wonderful things in each area of our lives.
As a coach, when we first begin to work with a client we often talk to them about their “life areas”. For our purposes during this Thanksgiving Week we will take 7 days and 7 life areas. Each day think about what you are Thankful for in that life area. Get everyone in your family involved. Might I suggest that you create something to remember your “Thankfulness”. Cut out leaves for instance and write the “Thankfulness” on the leaf and then tape it to a window or door and begin to form a circle. By the end of the week, as each family member contributes their leaf for each life area you will have a beautiful full wreath of “Thankfulness”!
So, here goes:
Sunday, What are the things you are Thankful for in your “SPIRITUAL LIFE”?
Monday, What are the things you are Thankful for with each member of your “FAMILY”?
Tuesday, What are the things you are Thankful for with your “FINANCES”?
Wednesday, What are the things you are Thankful for with your “HEALTH”?
Thursday, What are the things you are Thankful for with your “HOME”?
Friday, What are the things you are Thankful for with your “CAREER”?
Saturday, What are the things you are Thankful for in any other are of your life that is important to you?
